Honoring our Greyhounds at the Bridge

Please spend some time here with our memories of greyhounds who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Our plan is to have each name take you to a memorial page devoted to that dog with pictures, and a tribute to the way they touched our lives.  We still have some work to do, but in the meantime please take a moment to think about the dogs we've all lost in our lives.

unending stories

Dogs featured in this area have fates unknown to us.  We remember them among our lost because we don't know how their stories ended, and we feel the pain of their families who have been unable to find closure in their loss.

If you information about any of these dogs, please contact us so that we can end their stories in peace.

"Tiggle"

Tiggle was in a locked, parked car in Columbia early in the morning while her owner ran into a grocery for a quick errand.  The car was broken into and Tiggle stolen in the time she was left alone.  Sadly, no further sign or sighting of her was ever found.

"Precious"

Precious escaped from her backyard several years ago and was never recovered by her family.  We have had no information since, and this is the only photographer we have of her.

CP's Mr. Chunk

"Chunk"

Chunk escaped from his family on Saturday, 11/05/05, during a Clemson football game.  More than a month of searching, phone calls, and fliers haven't turned up even a single sighting.  The last known confirmation is less than a hour after his escape and still on the Clemson campus.

We would love to find out that he is safe and secure somewhere.  If you know anything about this boy please contact us.  There may still be time to bring his story to a positive end.

You might also enjoy reading "A Message From Max".  It touched me so much that I knew it must be included in our memorial pages.

Our lost ones are an important part of the History of Greyhound Crossroads.  If you would like to add anything to these memorials, please drop me an email.  I welcome letters, short stories, pictures, or any other memories of these dogs you would like to share.

They are all members of Greyhound Crossroads forever.

Kim, GC Director
