Cherry is a sweet, outgoing girl with the cutest tiny, pointy ears. When she gets excited they pop straight up and make her look a little like a doberman. Most of the time they are folded and flopped forward on her face though. Really cute and they give her such character. She will be easy to spot in a crowd of greyhounds because of her cute unusual ears. Cherry was a pretty good racer that has 150 races to her credit. She just retired from Sanford Orlando Track but spent most of her career racing at Palm Beach. Her sire is Maryville Rumble and her dam is Jawa Pattie. Cherry will celebrate her 4th birthday on March 7th. She passed her cat test with no real interest so should be fine to live with cats or small dogs. In her photo she looks a little sad but we had just woken her up from a nap. This is not a sad girl - just the opposite.

Cherry was adopted March 3 of 2013. Her family renamed her Tansy. She crossed the bridge June 28th of 2021. She will be missed.

Gale came to us from the Birmingham Race Track. He is a beautiful black male that was shy and overwhelmed when he first arrived but warmed up to be friendly and sweet with his foster family. His sire is Gable Sour Cream and his dam is Lady Jeannine. Gale raced 79 races mostly at Birmingham but also briefly at Naples-Ft Myers in Florida. He only won 3 races in his career, but he did place some. He last raced October 1st and was at the track adoption kennel waiting for a group or adopter to take him for months before we got him. He was just a shy, black boy that got overlooked. He just turned 3 on March 1st and raced at 73lbs so is a mid-sized guy. Gale enjoys going for rides and gets in a vehicle and lays down for the trip, but is timid in new places and meeting new people so probably would do better with a family that didn't do a lot of traveling with their dogs. He is a very low key, calm guy that is more of a homebody since he is shy. He does cautiously go up to new people if given a little time to warm up. Gale has been fostered with us for some time now so should be an easy addition that is already home-acclimated. Gale was too interested in chasing kitties to be able to live with them. Although he initially tested fine with small dogs and does fine with them most of the time he needs a home without small dogs. Gale does OK in a home with just one or two other large dogs but too many dogs and activity makes him nervous. What he wants most is a family that will let him hang out with them at night. He loves to sleep in the room with his humans. Gale is a timid guy that wants a home that is quiet and low key like he is. He has a lot of love to give to his new family.

Gale was adopted 7/5/15 and was called Ares by his family. He crossed the bridge 9/7/21 after struggling to get up, falling and and refusing food. He was very loved and had a fantastic life.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Kinn family of Boiling Springs PA 4/22/18

Icon is a gentle 86 lb giant that just came in from the Birmingham Race Track Adoption Kennel. He never actually raced there but was just sent to their adoption kennel to place with one of the adoption groups they work with. Icon was one of the best racers, getting up to the very top AA level, at the best track in the country- Southland in Arkansas. He also raced at another top track, Wheeling in WV, then Mardi Gras, Dubuque and finally Sarasota. He raced 153 races. Icon broke his leg on January 6th of 2018. He was casted for 6 weeks and put into a soft splint for 2 after that at the track. His splint was removed by the time he got to us and we sent him to Pro Greyhound for rehab. He is finished with that now and has been released for adoption. He will still need a month or two more of reduced activity where he takes it easy on the leg. He shouldn't run around and play with other dogs yet outside for awhile to be sure the leg is very strong. Icon is huge. He raced at a very tall 86lbs. His back comes up to our hip, probably around 31 or 32 inches at the shoulder. Icon has a gorgeous shiny black coat. He is friendly and happy. Icon travels really well and is silent in his crate so may be a good choice to live in an apartment or townhouse. He loves to put his head in your lap for petting and seems pretty calm indoors. Icon can be playful, silly and bouncy outside. Because of his old injury  Icon may not enjoy long hikes. He loves to go for shorter walks though and can easily support his weight and uses his leg. He is a great guy and his foster home just loves his personality. He is a really good guy that seems to want to please and just wants love. He passed his cat and small dog tests easily with no desire to chase either. He seems to like other dogs and gets along extremely well with the large pack of dogs that his foster home has. He is just a friendly easy going guy that loves everyone he meets. Icon's sire is the very famous DJays Octane and his dam is Silver Idol. He just turned 5 on April 1st.

Icon was called Senna by his adoptive family. He was the politest, gentlest, sweetest cuddle bug and was a once in a lifetime dog. He crossed the bridge due to Osteosarcoma at just 8.5 years old September 15th of 2021.

He is playful and enjoys running and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He seems to be a very bright boy because he has already figured out where the dog food is stored and how to lift the lid to the container to help himself. He has learned how to play with toys and is doing great on his housetraining. JJ loves "help" with the laundry although he is generally unfolding what was folded and carrying it around to decorate the bedroom with it. This is a fun guy! He is a half brother to one of our other adoptable males, Bacchus.

JJ was adopted in 2010. He was called Lee by his family. He had a long happy life and lived to the ripe old age of 14. He crossed the bridge in March of 2022.

Magic is a sweet, friendly boy that just retired from the Orlando Race Track. He has 49 races listed and raced at 78lbs so is a bigger guy. His sire is Freak Show and his Dam is Malwa Passion. We just adopted one of his sisters from the same mom but out of a later litter - Canadian Passion. Magic's birthday is June 3rd. He is a calm, well behaved guy. When we spent time with him at the track he was very quiet in his crate and was careful not to mess up his crate. He did what he was told when it was time to go outside to potty and didn't have accidents in the kennel. He is mostly white with just a few red spots and the sweetest, most gentle eyes. He didn't pay any attention to the cats and small dogs at the vets office so seems like he will be fine to live with either. He has been living with a small furry white dog in his foster home and did well with him. Magic travels well and did great on the long trip up from Florida. He had a minor injury to his shoulder that caused him to retire but that is totally healed now. Magic has been a great foster and did great at his first meet and greet calmly soaking up all the attention that people gave him. He was good with kids and adults and didn't seem nervous. He was great on the shiny floors at PetSmart too. With his calm sweet nature he seems like he would be a really easy first greyhound. He is quiet in his crate so we think he would do well in an apartment or townhouse.

Magic was adopted 3/28/13 and was called Moose by his family. He had a long happy life and was just shy of his 13th birthday when he crossed the bridge in March of 2022. It was a Freak N Awesome journey!

She traveled well on the trip up from Florida. Cherry takes food from your hand and loves to lay her head in your lap. She emptied the doggy toy box looking for the right toy the first day in her new home so seems to be very comfortable in new environments and she isn't bothered by much.

Cherry lived a long happy life. Her family eventually also adopted her littermate brother so they got to live together. She crossed the bridge due to cancer March 11th of 2022 at the age of 12.5 years old.

Mike has pictures of Twista growing up and will be glad to pass them on to his new owner and would love to get updates.  Twista was a kennel favorite, just one of those dogs whose personality stands out in a crowd. Very happy and social. His trainer says he loves to play and is very smart. He wishes he had a kennel full of dogs just like Twista. He says whoever gets him is going to get a great dog. Twista was a good racer getting up to A level and even competing in a Stakes race. He did well in the longer 660 yard races but also raced in the 550 and won. His sire is Hi Noon Renegade and his dam is SL Wolfgang. We placed his littermate NPZ ImperialLady as well. Twista passed his small dog test easily and seems to like kids.

Twista was adopted in April of 2019. He was called Wicked by his family. He developed cancer and in spite of chemo and all the best treatments he only survived a short time. He passed away in April of 2022.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Howell Family of Greenville SC March of 2022

Special Senior! Greta initially came in from an Oklahoma farm where she had been since she has retired from racing. She raced at Derby Lane, Naples Ft Myers and Flagler Race Tracks. She did get up to the top A level so was good. She race 121 races and retired in September of 2013, and went back to the farm to be a mom. She never ended up actually having pups though and was sent to us in January of 2016 to be a pet. Her sire is the famous Kiowa Mon Manny and her dam is PR's Maddy Rae. Greta is a tiny girl that raced at just 54lbs. She will celebrate her 12th birthday on November 16th so qualifies for our reduced senior adoption fee of $250. Greta was adopted by one of our volunteers after her arrival back in January of 2016. Unfortunately they have been forced to give up their beloved dogs. Her owners are experiencing severe health issues that keep them from being able to care for pets anymore. Greta is a real lover that seeks out attention and follows her family around when she is not dozing on a dog bed. She loves the kids she has met. She is very friendly and happy. Greta came into her home like she had always been there. She was a little interested in cats at first but became very good with cats and chose to avoid them. She was too interested in small dogs that were bouncing or running around, so her initial foster home thought she would do better in a home without small dogs but she has been around small dogs successfully over the years since. Greta is gentle, loving and loves to snuggle. She has no trouble with stairs and easily navigates all types of flooring. She crates well and loves to go for rides in the car.

Greta was adopted by the Howell Family in Greenville SC in 2022 as an older 12 year old girl. Shortly after she was adopted she got sick, quit eating and crossed the bridge shortly after. She had only been in her new home a very short time.

Strider is a beautiful black, shiny boy that raced at 71lbs. He is very young and just celebrated his 2nd birthday Dec 10th. Strider is a bit shy at first and would try to hide his head under someone's arm when he was nervous. He started following his foster family everywhere after only a couple of days and just melts for a tummy scratch. Strider is very sensitive to correction, just a stern word and he stops doing what he is doing. He is home acclimated and well behaved so rarely does anything wrong though. Strider potties well on leash so doesn't require a home with a fenced yard if his family is willing to leash walk him. He is good on leash and can do steps very well. He plays nicely with other dogs large and small, and is fine with cats. Strider even lived with birds so should be find with just about any small critters. He is a very loving, devoted boy once he warms up, although he is initially a little shy about approaching strangers. He prefers women over men, but will warm up to men too with a little time. Strider has shown some separation anxiety when left totally alone, so would do best in a home with at least one other dog for company. Since he sometimes cries when left alone in his crate, he would not be a good dog for apartment or townhome living. Strider is a great guy with a lot of love to give. He is young, so is a playful, fun guy.

Strider was adopted January 17th of 2012 and was called Grendel. He had a long happy life and always greeted his dad at the door. Grendel crossed the bridge in early 2022 at the age of 12 suddenly of unknown causes. He will be missed by his family.

Echo came from a Sanford Orlando kennel closing. She also raced at Bluffs Run in Iowa and at Derby Lane and Orange Park in Florida. She has 49 races to her credit. She turned 3 on March 28th and she raced at 62lbs. Her sire is DK's Prime Time and her dam is Money Go Get Her. Echo is very good with cats and small dogs and didn't pay attention or get excited about seeing either. The cat hissed at her and she kept her distance as if she was already familiar with cats and their claws. So far Echo seems like she is a very sweet friendly girl that is calm but has a silly playful side too. She is very good on leash and never pulls. She likes everyone but seems like she is particularily fond of men. Echo did a cute little bounce and spin when meeting her foster mom's husband for the first time. Echo does go potty on leash and is quiet in her crate so should be OK in an apartment or in a home without a fenced yard. Echo is a sweet, well behaved girl that should make an easy first or 3rd greyhound. She has hardly used the crate in her foster home and is very well behaved even when left out with no supervision.

Echo was adopted by the McMillen Family in 2013 when she was 3 years old. They called her Ethyl. She lived passed away in 2020 at the age of 10 from kidney failure and will be missed.

She retired in October of 2014 and went back to the farm to become a mom. We aren't sure if she ever had any puppies because so far none have been registered to race. Pups have to be registered before racing and usually are registered by the time they are a year and a half old. Cool has been on the farm for nearly 4 years and turned 8 on March 24th. She is looking for a couch of her own now and seems like she may have found one at her foster family's home. Cool is a happy, silly girl with a lot of personality. She is very outgoing and friendly and doesn't seem to be scared of much except for shiny floors. Cool raced at 64lbs. Her sire is USS Raceway and her dam is Myokie Flame. Cool passed her cat and small dog tests and is being fostered with both. More as we get to know her.

Cool was adopted by the Thompson Family in 2018. They called her Beatrice. In January of 2022 she suffered paralysis and quit eating. She was nearly 12 years old. She will be missed.

Chato came to us in December of 2009 from the Gulf Greyhound Track where she raced just 14 races. She won 3 of those and came in 2nd or 3rd in a lot of others. Before her career really got going, she stumbled and fell and broke her leg. She was retired, although the break didn't appear to be a very bad one. Our vets say the break is healing really well and Chato should be fine to run around and play after it completely heals. She will be in a splint until it heals and then will require some more time of limited activity to regain strength in her leg before being allowed to run again. Her trainer describes her as a tiny, bubbly girl that follows her around trying to get her attention. She is a tiny 53lb white and black girl with two big black spots on her back that resemble angel wings and some smaller black freckles (ticking). She did great at her first dog event and would go up calmly to people and lean against them to be petted. Chato seems to like to travel and will hop up on the seat and lay down for the ride. She has done great with the very small dogs and cats in her foster home so should be fine living with either. Chato is a half sister to Lily and CurlyQ, two of the girls we placed at about the same time. Her sire is the famous Lonesome Cry and her dam is Sunsands Lilgirl. Her DOB is 7/22/07.

Update: Hi! my name's Chato. My hobbies include loving on you, leash walks, and snuggling. Ok ok, I love eating too! What i'm looking for in a family is someone to love me back, help me stretch my legs a lil, and keep my food bowl full. I'm a very good girl, i just want to make you happy. I don't mind having brothers and sisters, but i'm ok with being an only child too. If littler dogs growl at me or snap I just walk away. I am such a good girl. I learned to go potty on a leash really good, and i can even walk on slick floors like hardwood and tile with my splint.I could live in an apartment or without a fenced yard since I am so good on leash and quiet. My leg is healing up so well that you can barely tell where I broke it now. I can hardly wait until I can run around and play again. I am a pretty low energy girl, so don't require much exercise. I would be perfect for a low energy owner that likes to just go for short walks.

Chato was adopted in August of 2010 by the Siman Family. She had a long life with them and crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 14.5 in January 2022. They are never with us long enough though. She will be missed.

Starburst is a tall beautiful, dark red, male that raced at a thin 66lbs. He actually a pretty tall guy for his weight. His birthday is July 10, 2009. He is friendly and sweet and loves people. The vet that treated him said that he was one of the most tolerant and sweetest dogs she had met. When they put him up on the table to re do some staples, instead of struggling, he just laid there and wagged his tail, happy to be getting attention. He didn't want to get up when they were done, because he was enjoying the attention so much, in spite of getting stapled. Starburst passed his cat and small dog tests and is living in a foster home with a small dog, so should do fine in an adoptive home with either. Starburst crates quietly and potties well on leash, so may be a good choice for townhouse or apartment living. He pulls on leash and we are working on that. This is a super sweet, loving guy that wants to please. He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home. If the play gets rough he walks away and chooses not to get involved. Such a sweet, sweet personality. We think he would do really well with kids because of his sweet nature, willingness to please and choosing to walk away instead of defending himself. He was a big star at meet and greets. He feels it is his job to personally greet every person he sees. No one is going to get by without a kiss, a snuggle or a lean. He is almost like a cat rubbing on people.

Star was adopted by the Richardson Family of Myrtle Beach in December of 2011 when he was two and a half years old. He lived with them for another 6 years and passed away in 2019 at the age of 10.

Emmy is a world traveler. She was born in Ireland and was imported to race in Florida. She raced 14 races at Derby Lane and Tampa in 2005, but didn't manage to win one of those races. Because of her bloodlines, Emmy went back to the farm to be a mom after her short race career. She had a litter of 6 pups in 2006, but none of them were good racers either. None were able to even graduate from race training to the race track. So Emmy was retired from mom duties in mid 2009, when she was 6 years old. Her sire is Spiral Nikita and her dam is Centenarys Devil. DOB 7/20/03. Emmy is a gorgeous shiny black female with a personality that shines like the brightest star. She is settling in with us & is an ideal foster - playful, friendly, affectionate & there is a little goofball hiding in there as well. Emmy did not pass her cat test so needs a home with no kitties.

Emmy was adopted in August of 2009 by the Richardson family of Myrtle Beach. She was a wonderful pet and very loved. Unfortunately she was only with her new family for a year, before she passed away in 2010.

Own it just arrived from trainer Kathi Lacasse at the Sanford Orlando Race Track. He is a young guy that was too slow in training and just couldn't keep up so he never actually had an official race. He won't turn 2 until July 1st of next year. His sire is Pat C Sabbath and his dam is JT's Pat Benatar. Own it doesn't have a racing weight since he never raced but we would guess him to be in the mid 70s. He is a friendly friendly happy guy that didn't seem too worried about all the changes in his life. Own it passed his small dog test easily so we are hopefully he won't want to chase kitties either. Really sweet boy. He started out wanting to help drive by getting into the front seat. He settled down fast and laid down for the rest of the trip though so travels really well. He slept all night quietly in his crate the first night in his foster home and only whined when he needed to go outside the next day. He seems like a really nice easy going guy for one so young.

Own It was adopted by the Waters Family in January of 2019. He had a happy but short life. He was diagnosed with bone cancer in December of 2021 and passed away later that month at only 4 years old. He will be missed by his family.

Templeton is from a litter that was all named for Charlotte's Web characters. Templeton was the very intelligent rat in the story. He is a very young guy that won't turn 2 until September 28th. His sire is Seldom Told and his dam is B My Erica. We met this litter of puppies a year ago, when they were small, on a trip to the Bolton Farm in Florida. Templeton never had an official race because he was just was not fast enough. He was pulled out of the one race he was supposed to race at the last minute. Several pictures of him and his litter as puppies is up at the Sanford Orlando Race Track, on the rail though. We have a photo of it in his pictures. We do have a few pictures of the litter from our trip to his farm last year. He was an excellent traveler on the trip back from Florida. Templeton seems pretty calm and quiet for such a young guy. He is a mid sized guy at 73lbs. Fearless and confident, he strolled right across the shiny hardwood floors without any trouble and the vacuum didn't phase him either. Templeton settled into his crate nicely and was quiet there too. He chatters his teeth when excited - some greyhounds do this and we think it is really cute. Templeton is a happy boy that comes running to see you with his tail wagging. Very sweet guy! Sadly Templeton has been diagnosed with kidney disease so will have to be on a special diet and will have a shortened lifespan.

Templeton was adopted by the Halliwell family in 2019 and everything possible was done to prolong his life. He only lived until December of 2021 and passed away due to kidney failure at the age of 4. Templeton's life was short but it was a very good one. He will be missed.

Berry just arrived from the Larson Kennel at the Orlando Race track. He had just 7 races and didn't place in any of them so he was retired young. He won't turn 2 until October 16th so is still very young. Berry raced at 74lbs so is a mid sized male that is more stocky and muscular than tall. His sister Hurricane Carla is arriving with him from the same kennel. Their sire is Barcelona Boss and their dam is Hurricane Riot. Riot's mother, Audacious, is a dog that we placed. Berry travels well and so far has been pretty quiet in his kennel.  He seems like a calmly friendly guy that is perfectly happy exploring the backyard by himself and isn't too needy. He passed his cat test easily with only a casual sniff. He also seemed to like the kids he met and did fine with the small dogs he saw too.

Berry was adopted 8/5/18 and his family called him Blue. Blue passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on 12/5/21 at only 5 years of age. His family still has his littermate Hurricane Carla that they call Magenta. He will be missed.

Baxter is a medium sized 72lb brindle male that is very outgoing and friendly and is very people oriented. He was born on April 18 2008. Baxter is already obedience trained!! He knows sit, down, and wait and does an automatic sit when the treats come out. He walks beautifully on leash too. He has wonderful table manners and doesn't even come near the table while his foster family eats. Baxter is a playful guy outside and loves to run and play with the other dogs. One of his favorite things is to lay in the kiddie pool in the yard on hot days. His foster home dog sits all types of dogs so Baxter has had exposure to a lot of different breeds and has been friendly with all the dogs he has met of all sizes. He loves to play with balls and toys so would probably learn to play fetch quickly. If you want a well trained, happy, fun guy Baxter is your guy! After some exposure to cats we feel he is cat trainable. He was a little interested in them at first but responded well to correction. This is one handsome, photogenic guy that is also very smart! His coat was a little fuzzy in the first photos taken when he arrived but in the more recent photos of him sitting you can see how pretty and shiny his coat is now.

Baxter lived a long happy life with his family. He crossed the bridge in September of 2021 at the age of 13.5.

Flash cam in from the Orange Park Race Track in Jacksonville Florida. She raced all of her 92 races there. On December 12th she was bumped in a race and fell, breaking a leg. Her racing owner paid for her to have surgery. Flash had a plate put in to stabilize the break before she was moved to our group. She is being fostered by one of our vets in Columbia for her rehab. Flash is recovering nicely and is out of her splint and doing really well. She is ready to start meeting potential families. Flash is the littermate of another dog we placed named GS Barry. Her sire is Pat C Clement and her dam is GS Millie. Flash raced at 60lbs and will turn 3 on March 6th. Flash is a beautiful, black female with a white chest, socks and white blaze on her face. Very flashy just like her name. Flash has a fun bouncy personality after just a short time in her foster home but was initially just a bit timid when meeting new people. She warms up very fast though. She was initially very interested in the cats until one slapped her, then she didn't want to go near it again. So we have her listed as trainable and she would do best in a home with a cat that would let her know who is boss. Flash is adapting very well to her foster home. She went out to a home show event and did great. Very friendly girl that liked kids.

Flash lived with her new family until 9/9/21 when she crossed the bridge at the age of of just 8.5 years old.

His DOB is Aug 11, 2009 so he is 3 years old. He raced 90 races in Tuscon AZ and most recently Sanford Orlando. Boy passed his cat test at the track but was a little interested in a cat he met in foster care so we have him listed as cat trainable. He did respond to correction well and seems to want to please. His sire is TNT Star Wars so he is a half brother to several dogs we have placed and his dam is Unblemished. He is a very friendly, happy guy that seems to be a mid level energy guy. He travels well and was very good on the dog haul. Boy loves playing with toys and collects them if he finds them laying around, he likes to find the squeaker in toys and thinks he needs to find it and take it out. He seems to get along great with small dogs, even very playful ones that lick his face and bother him. Seems like a tolerant guy that has a wonderful, loving personality. Boy is in a foster family that has several young children and he has been very good with them including a 5 month old baby!! They say he is very well behaved and very sweet and is their favorite foster so far.

Boy was called Taplin by his new family. He crossed the bridge suddenly in early October of 2021 at 12 years old. He will be missed.

Nosey came in from a farm in WV. She raced at both Tri State and Wheeling in WV. She was a good racer that was in several Stakes races that are reserved for the best racers at the track. Nosey was even a finalist in the 2010 Wheeling WVGOBA Middle Distance Championship. She raced 74 races and finished up her career in January of 2013. Nosey went back to the farm to become a mom and had 6 puppies in 2014 and 4 more in 2015 that are registered and racing now. She probably had more that are still too young to race. Nosey is a cute red girl that raced at 64lbs and will celebrate her 9th birthday on November 24th. She definitely doesn't look her age. Her sire is the famous Flying Penske and her dam is Myokie Flame. She is a very friendly girl that loves to snuggle with her people. Very very sweet and doing well in foster care. She passed her small dog test easily and was OK with some cats she met but has been somewhat interested in some others so we think she may be trainable and just needs to meet and get used to being around cats. She can be introduced to your cats on request to see how she does.

Nosey was called Rosie by her new family. Even though she was adopted as a 9 year old senior, she lived another 4 years with her new family. Rosie crossed the bridge at nearly 13 on October 6th of 2021.

Puddles is a handsome black male that just turned 4 on August 14th. He is very tiny for a boy and raced at just 63lbs. His trainers say he is a calm, well behaved boy. He passed his cat test at the track so should be fine to live with cats and small dogs. He had a pretty long racing career with 142 races. He raced his whole career in Florida, starting out at Sarasota, then heading to Ebro, back to Sarasota and finally to Sanford Orlando. There are different levels of tracks so greyhounds are often moved to a mid level track if they aren't competitive at a high level track. They might also be moved from a lower level track to a mid or high level track if they are winning a lot of races, in hopes they will be competitive against higher level dogs and will earn bigger purses. Puddles sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey, his dam is Ale Black Smoke. Puddles is quiet in his kennel and does potty well on leash so may be a good apartment or townhouse dog. He is very friendly and sweet. He makes great eye contact just staring up at you with the sweetest expression on his face hoping you will pet him.

Puddles name was changed to Enzo by his family. He crossed the bridge in October of 2021 due to bone cancer at 12 years old. He had a long happy life and will be missed.

Coal is a gorgeous, extra large, black male that raced at 83lbs. He will turn 4 on June 16th. He raced 74 races starting in Birmingham then moving to Sanford Orlando. He was pretty good racing at the top A levels at both tracks. He had a bad fall on June 2nd 2014 in a race that resulted in a torn muscle in a back leg. His owner had surgery done on the muscle and kept him off until October to heal up. He healed up well and was quickly back up to the top A level again and raced well for another year. In September of 2015, he had a jammed ankle that forced him to take a few months off. During his time off the scar tissue from the old surgical repair stiffened up. When they started running him again in December he just wasn't able to get the extension he needed to win races. Both old injuries are healed and shouldn't affect him as a pet. They just took a second or so off his time that is the difference between winning and coming in last. Coal is a special guy. He was raised and raced by his owner and is considered a pet as well as an elite athlete. She would love to get updates from his adoptive family. Coal is a friendly boy that was always good in the kennel. He never had accidents in his crate and was a happy guy that everyone liked. Most of the time the bigger boys are kept in the lower crates at the track but Coal likes to jump up into the top crates so is the unusual male that was a top crate dog. His sire is Flying Coal City and his dam is Kentucky Merlot. More as we get to know him.

Coal had a happy life with his family and crossed the bridge in March of 2021 after a long fight with Lymphoma. He was nearly 9.

One of those dogs that loves attention and will follow you around. For Millsap, there is no such thing as too much attention. He loves everyone and makes sure they know it. He is a big traveler starting out his race career in Abilene then moving to Bluffs Run and Dubuque in IA. From there he moved to Florida where he raced at Sarasota, Naples-Ft Myers and Sanford Orlando where he finally retired from. He raced 125 races including A level races and even Stakes races, so he was a good racer. He will turn 6 on Dec 27th. Jasper was returned to us from his first home in October of 2014. He lived with lots of kids in a big active family and was very good with them. His actual owner was an 18-year-old girl that did a lot of training with him. Jasper knows many obedience commands sit, stay, down and come and loves to play fetch and can find a treat on command. He was returned the first time because of a family thing and not because of anything he did. He was adopted again in October of 2014 and his name was changed to Jack. This time he lived in a very quiet home and did fine there too.  He is being returned because his owner had an injury and is having difficulty physically and financially taking care of him. If you want a dog that comes pre-trained and has wonderful manners and will be good in a large family with kids and other pets this is your boy!

Stutz is big guy that just arrived from a farm in Kansas. He has 59 races to his credit at Derby Lane track in Florida and was retired to the farm because of a toe injury. He raced at 98lbs so is an extra large guy. His sire is Balligari and his dam is Elysium. Stutz is named for a famous man in greyhound racing history that is in the Greyhound Hall of Fame. He was described by his trainer as a sweet friendly boy that was a favorite with everyone that visited the kennel. He needs careful placement because he did have some trouble getting along with some of the other male dogs at the track. He never started anything, but he would only put up with so much according to his trainers. He celebrates his birthday December 1st. Stutz passed his small dog tests and lives with a small dog in his foster home. He has done great at meet and greets with children and adults and loves anyone that will pet him. He does nip to get your attention and we are working on correcting that behavior. He is being playful but it does hurt. He is a real snuggly guy that loves to curl up in bed with his people. His favorite place in the house is the bed - human bed, not dog bed. He seems to be a follower and follows the other dogs in his foster home and looks to them to see what he should do next. He has a high prey drive and can not live in a home with cats.

His Pedigree

Update on Stutz. He was adopted by his foster mom. He is a wonderful boy that has never shown any aggression to any dog since he left the track. He is so tolerant that he helped raise an Italian greyhound puppy. He has quit the nipping behavior entirely. He does still have a high prey drive and that has been doing Barn Hunting competitions where he sniffs out a rat safely contained in a tube hidden in hay bales and he did some lure coursing - both great ways to let him have fun with his prey drive. Stutz also performs at the Carolina and GA Renaissance Festivals in the cast of The Hounds of East Fairhaven. He promoted greyhound adoption at meet and greets, had an on stage role in a musical, and was a blood donor. Stutz also traveled across the country and Canada with his mom transporting greyhounds from tracks to adoption groups. Stutz is a sweet sensitive boy that always tries to do the right thing and never gets into trouble.

Stutz lived a long happy life. He crossed the bridge in 2021 at nearly 12 years old of a variety of age related problems. He was a gentle giant that will be missed by everyone that met him.

Chucky just arrived and is an extra large male that raced at 91lbs at Southland in AK, Victoryland and Mobile in AL, and most recently Palm Beach and Sanford Orlando in FL. He was quite the traveler and does enjoy going for rides and is good on trips. Chucky's sire is DK's Prime Time and his Dam is Char Jimmy Pop. He just turned 4 on June 2nd. He is a gorgeous brindle and is very tall. He towers over even other large greyhound males and is one of the largest dogs we have ever adopted out, and is one of the tallest greyhounds we have ever placed. Chucky may be a giant, but he is a gentle giant that actually lacks confidence. He can be a little timid at first in new surroundings but warms up fast. He loves to be petted and calmly leans in for petting. He has done well on slick floors and stairs in his foster home and is very calm and laid back. He has been to PetSmart on outings several times and has done fine with all the dogs and people he has met there and goes up to strangers for attention. He has been great with the small dogs or cats in his foster home so would be an excellent dog for a home with cats or small dogs. Chucky seems like the type that would walk or more likely run away from confrontation, in fact, when he gets scared he does have the tendency to run. The folks at the track adoption kennel warned us that he got scared and tried to scale their fence - without success. So he will need a yard with a 5 or 6 foot fence or someone that will leash walk him if he goes to a home without a fenced yard. He is quiet in his crate and likes to be in his crate so may be OK as an apartment dog. Chucky has seemed to be pretty comfortable with the well-behaved children he has met so far so may be good in a home with kids. He is settling in nicely to his foster home and has been well-behaved. If you want a sweet, gentle giant Chucky is your man. We just found out that Chucky likes water and enjoys swimming!

Chucky was adopted in June of 2013. He was renamed Chief. Chief crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April of 2017 when he was just 8.

Fancy is a cute little girl that raced at 61lbs. Her birthday is August 2nd and she is a daughter of the famous Dodgem By Design. Fancy is already home acclimated and has been living in her racing owner's home since she retired in October. Her racing owner already has a number of pet greyhounds so is not able to keep Fancy, even though she would like to. Fancy has great house manners and is very well behaved. She will give a quick bark if she needs to go out to potty and another at the door to let you know she is done and ready to come back in. She LOVES people and will stick close to you if she is awake. She will put her front legs and chest in your lap on a chair to snuggle with you. So far she has not gotten up on furniture though except for this, but we are pretty sure she would with a little encouragement. Fancy loves to play outside and will play with toys outside and entertain herself even if no humans or dogs want to play with her. She seems to really like playing with balls. She was living with quite a few other large dogs of different breeds and gets along great with males and other females. She has even done great with the small 13lb Italian Greyhound in her foster home. She also passed her cat test and even seemed to like the cat as she rubbed up against it - until it smacked her for it. Then she decided it was best not to be too friendly with cats. She is more focused on interacting with the humans than playing with the other dogs so might be OK as an only dog too. Fancy crates well and is quiet in her crate except for a little whining at meal times.

Fancy was adopted in April of 2012. She was called Fern by her family. She crossed the bridge in January of 2019 after a long happy life with her family.

Noble is a stunning large, white male with a black patches. He is very flashy, drop dead gorgeous and even trots with a prance. He weighs 85lbs and is an extra large guy. Noble is not a retired racer. He has been in a home since he was a puppy so has great house manners and is already home acclimated. If he does anything wrong all you have to do is say something and he will stop right away. He really wants to please people. Noble hasn't been out a lot and does get a little stressed in new situations with people he doesn't know. He is a bit timid and isn't initially as friendly as our more confident dogs and tends to stand back a bit at our meet and greets at PetSmart. He takes a day or two to really bond with new people but once formed that bond is very strong and he will follow his new owner around and ask for affection. Noble will quietly stand leaning against you or put his head in your lap for petting. He is very good with children.Noble was given to us to rehome because he was not getting along with a new male greyhound in the home. From what we have seen Noble is not a confident dog and can be uncomfortable with new dogs coming in to his home large or small. Although he lived with small dogs in his previous home and was fine with them, we would rather not put him in a home with small dogs. Noble does love to play with the other greyhounds and a wolfhound in his foster home and we have seen none of his previous behavior except if dogs he doesn't know run up and get in his face. His previous owner had quite a few dogs and felt that may have been part of the problem and thought he would do better in a home with fewer dogs where he would get more attention. Noble passed a recent cat test with very little interest so we think he may be trainable with indoor cats. Noble will need a home with a fenced yard because we haven't been able to get him to go potty on leash even one time during his walks. He just likes to trot around looking for that perfect spot and is much too polite to go while on leash. Noble likes to go for walks and travels very well. He is a really stunning guy that is already home acclimated and is going to make someone a very nice pet.

Noble was given to us to rehome because he was not getting along with a new male greyhound in the home.

Noble was adopted in 2013. His new family called him Bandit. He had a long happy life with them and passed away in August of 2019 at the age of 12.

Sahara just arrived from the Orange Park Track in Jacksonville Fl. She raced 126 races at 66lbs. She raced at Dubuque IA and in Sarasota FL too. Sahara turned 4 on July 14th. Her sire is Kelso's Fusileer and her dam is Pat C Output. She is a beautiful dark red girl that is calm, friendly and well behaved. She has been around kids and loves all 4 of her trainers kids and was around them daily. The youngest child was 1 year old. More as we get to know her. Sahara seems to be cat trainable. She was interested in the cat at first, until the cat smacked her, then she was afraid of the cat.

Sahara was renamed Sarah but was usually called Sissy. She had a long happy life with her adoptive family and crossed the Rainbow bridge in 2021 after a long battle with kidney disease.

Catfish is a tall, thin brindle boy that raced at 73lbs. He is all legs. He just retired from the Jacksonville track and is a sweet, calm, friendly, happy, boy. He needed a little work on leash because he pulled some but is already doing better. They said he was a calm, well behaved guy at the kennel and so far that is what his foster home has found. Catfish's sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey so he is related to a bunch of the dogs we have placed. They all seem to be exceptionally sweet. His dam is KB's Turbo Toes. Catfish will celebrate his 3rd birthday on August 1st. Hopefully he can celebrate his birthday in his new home. Catfish passed his cat test with absolutely no interest in the cat and ended up being OK with the guinea pigs in his foster home with a few reminders. He is living with a small baby in his foster home and seems to be fine with her too. This tall guy is just stunning and so sweet! His foster home has taken him jogging and he seems to enjoy that. He is starting to play with toys now and his playful side is really coming out.

Catfish had a long wonderful life with his adoptive family. He crossed the bridge in July of 2021.

Larry is a red male from the litter that retired out of race training and didn't make it to the race track. Larry is one of the more confident friendly boys in the litter. His sire is Dave the Dog and his dam is Topaz Lass. Larry's foster mom owns Lass's brother and another of our foster homes owns his dad. Larry turned 2 on May 26th so he is a young guy. So far Larry seems like the most outgoing of the brothers. He does like people and will approach for petting so isn't really shy like some of his brothers but can be a little nervous when first meeting strangers. He will warm up quickly though and definitely prefers his foster dad to his foster mom so would be a great man's dog. He has played well with the other greyhounds in his foster home. He isn't pushy or bossy in play so would probably be fine to live with a more dominant dog. He passed his small dog test with no interest at all in a pug and seems like a really low prey drive guy because he didn't even pay any attention to some chickens that he rode up with. He is just a bit timid but only with some new things but seems like the type that will warm up fast and be a playful silly guy with a lot of personality. He playbows to his foster parents trying to get them to play with him. He enjoys running and playing outside. He does need some work with walking on leash because he will freeze sometimes if something scares him. With exposure to lots of new things by a confident owner, Larry is going to gain confidence quickly. Larry is on medical hold for heartworm treatment and is expected to be cleared for adoption around Oct 10th.

Larry was adopted in 2013 and had a long happy life with his family. He crossed the bridge in June of 2021.

Tor just arrived from the Lester Raines Kennel at the Palm Beach Race Track. He raced most of his 78 races at Southland in Arkansas though. He was pretty good, getting up to B level briefly at the top track in the country, but he mostly raced at the lower levels at that track. Tor raced at 71lbs and turned 3 on June 13th. His sire is Go Wild Teddy and his dam is Kelso's Jenna. Tor is settling in nicely to foster care. He loves the kids in his foster home. He was just a little overwhelmed at first with all the change in his life but warms up fast and loves attention. He will just stand next to you for petting for as long as you will pet him. He gets along great with the other two large male dogs in his foster home and also did great with smaller dogs he met. He even allowed puppies to jump all over him, so seems to have a very sweet temperament. Tor passed his cat test easily too, without much interest. He loves going for walks and is very good on leash. Tor seems like a calm guy that will be a great pet. He is a very handsome, black guy with one cute floppy ear that doesn't always match the other. He is very cute and sweet!

Tor was adopted in 2018. He had a happy but short life with his family. He passed away of unknown causes while in a boarding kennel in August of 2021 less than 3 years after he was adopted. He will be missed.

Kap came to us from the Daytona Race track because her kennel closed. She wasn't there long and never had a single official race. She was only a year and a half old when she retired in 2015. She was adopted 7/31/2015 and her name was changed to Rosie. She has been in an adoptive home since then. Rosie will turn 8 on December 11th. She is being returned to us with her housemate Bryant due to a divorce. They are very bonded and we are looking for an adoptive home where they can stay together. Rosie is a smaller girl that is just 58lbs. Her sire is Gable Sour Cream and her dam is WW Key Kap Rosy. She is very friendly and waggy with a tail that curls up over her back more like a husky than a greyhound. It is very very cute and makes her a one of a kind. She did complain some at first in her foster home so may be too loud to be an apartment dog. Rosey passed her cat and small dog tests with flying colors and has lived with cats in her previous home. Her trainer brought her 3 boys to work in the kennel with her so she is used to being around kids. Her adoptive home had 2 special needs kids that she did well with too so she has always been around children.

Rosie was adopted with her housemate Bryant by one of her foster homes. Unfortunately she started limping only weeks after her adoption and was diagnosed with bone cancer. Her pain progressed quickly and she crossed the rainbow bridge

Dee raced at Derby Lane and Sanford Orlando most recently. She has 33 races to her credit and raced at 65lbs. Her sire is Freak Show and her dam is Lil Law Dawg. Her birthday is Dec 13th. She passed her cat test at the track so should be fine to live with cats and small dogs. She is a gorgeous nearly all white girl with only some red spots on her ears and one tiny patch of red on one eye. Dee is very friendly and happily greets everyone she meets with a very waggy tail. She does try to give hugs sometimes so we are working on teaching her to keep all 4 feet on the floor. She is very curious and the first thing she does is put her paws up on things to check them out better - like a shopping cart in a parking lot and a couch, table and dog crate in her foster home. Dee corrects easily though and will learn she doesn't need to climb on things. It does show that she is very curious and not afraid of new things or new experiences. Maybe a good agility dog? She made just a little noise in her crate at first but quieted down right away on her own and slept all night her first night in a home. In the morning she fussed a little in the crate but correct fast and settled right down after only two corrections. Dee traveled well on the dog haul so seems like a dog that would be comfortable in just about any situation.

Dee was adopted by the Nash family in April of 2013. She was with them for 8 wonderful years before crossing the bridge after a long battle with cancer in May of 2021. Speedy Dee you have finished your race on this side. RIP

Crow originally came from the Sanford Orlando race track but though some bad luck and no fault of his own has been in two adoptive homes already. He is a pretty brindle male that raced at 74lbs. He won't turn 4 until Oct 1st. His sire is Tim's Crow and his dam is Red Hot Victory. Crow is a very friendly, outgoing guy that was in his first home for about 5 months but they had to return him to us because of some serious health problems. He is being returned again to us again with his housemate Jazz now for financial reasons. It has been a hard decision for his current family because they really love the boys. Crow travels well and passed his cat test. So far he has crated quietly so we think he would be perfect for a townhouse or apartment living. He potties quickly on leash and was living in a home without a fenced yard so is used to being leash walked. Crow is a very playful fun guy that has enough energy to keep things fun and isnt a total couch potato like many greyhounds. Shortly after he was adopted the first time Crow broke one back leg. The leg is completely healed and you can't even tell where he was injured and he doesn't limp on it at all but he does have some pins in his leg. Crow is a very loving, friendly guy and what a cute guy!

Crow's foster mom decided that she just couldn't let him go, and adopted him in June of 2015. He ended up being a greyhound ambassador helping her host the group's meet and greets at PetSmart. He was loved by everyone that met him and encouraged a lot of people to adopt greyhounds. He crossed the bridge due to cancer in May of 2021 at 9.5 years old. Crow will be missed.

Armor originally came in from a kennel closing at the Daytona Beach race track. He also raced at Sanford Orlando and Derby Lane race and has 66 races listed. It doesn't look like he won one race but he did place some. His sire is Bob's Skeet and his dam is Prairies Eagle. Armor turned 4 on June 24th. He is very calm, friendly and well behaved. Armor is a tall, leggy guy that raced at 76lbs. Armor is very good on leash and enjoys going for walks. He has already been living in a apartment and is very quiet in his kennel so would be perfect for someone needing a quiet apartment dog. He was also living as an only dog for a year so should also be an excellent choice for someone that wants an only greyhound. His trainer had 3 older children that work at the kennel with her and he was very good with them. His recent owner said Armor usually chooses to avoid real small loud kids though. Armor can be a bit grumpy about his space when laying down, so we have him listed as no kids even though he enjoyed being around the older kids that worked with him at the kennel. Armor passed his cat and small dog tests easily with no interest in chasing either. He is doing fine with the small dog in his foster home too. Armor is a grinner! It is a cute thing that just a few greyhounds do when they are happy or excited. He also has one other quirky thing about him - he can wag his tail straight up and down as well as side to side! Armor has been in an adoptive home for a little over a year so is already home acclimated, well behaved and has good house manners. The only reason he is available again is because his dad took a job that forces him to travel every week. Armor has been boarded a lot recently and his dad feels it isn't fair to him. If you want a tall handsome boy Armor could by your guy. Armor has settled in well to his foster home. He is a very nice boy that seems like he would be an easy addition for some lucky family. Such a laid back guy, but he does love to get silly and do zoomies occasionally in the backyard. Very friendly and loving.

Armor crossed the bridge 5/11/21 after battling osteosarcoma (bone cancer). He will be missed.

SPECIAL SENIOR THAT HAS BEEN WAITING ON A HOME THE LONGEST! Gracie just needs a home with no other dogs. Gracie is a tiny black female that raced at just 57lbs. She originally came from the track in Orlando and raced only 9 races there, not placing in one of those races. Her birthday is March 28th 2010 so she will be celebrating her 10th birthday soon. As a senior, she qualifies for our reduced adoption donation of $250! Her sire is Tony's Oracle and her dam is USS Upside. She is a littermate to Michele Henry and Cute Candle that we already placed and a half sister to several other dogs we have placed. Gracie lived with cats for 2 years in her first home and is fine with them. She has been in two adoptive homes before and has been returned for the same reason both times. The first home adopted several puppies after adopting Gracie. Gracie has always had some issues with not liking to be bothered by other dogs when lying down or sleeping. Having a bunch of wild puppies in the house was too much for her. Her family decided to re-home Gracie and keep the puppies. She was placed in a home with no other dogs in December of 2014. That home adopted a second female dog in 2015 and Gracie got along well with her perfectly for 4 years. Gracie bit her housemate twice in 6 months time, once over food and once over her space, so the decision was made to re-home her again. We had Gracie checked by our vet and found that she is low thyroid and needs inexpensive thyroid medication. Low thyroid can cause behavior changes and grumpiness. We started Gracie on thyroid medication and she has been perfectly behaved with quite a few other dogs in her foster home for months now. Although Gracie is doing fantastic with the dogs in her foster home now, we want to place her in a home with no other dogs. She attends greyhound playgroup and is fine playing with the other dogs, so this isn't a dog that can never be around other dogs though. She has never been grumpy with people approaching her when she is laying down, according to her former family. She is friendly with adults and children she meets. Because she has shown grumpiness about her space, with other dogs, we chose to mark her 'older children only', just to be safe. Gracie isn't a needy girl and is perfectly happy laying on her bed most of the day. She doesn't follow you around and you will hardly know she is there. Gracie can be a little whiny sometimes. Gracie is doing great in foster care, has great house manners and knows how to use a doggy door. She is ready to be a pet for someone that wants a very easy, only dog that will be calm and well behaved.

Her Pedigree

Gracie was adopted by the Laben family in March of 2020. She stayed with them for the remainder of her life. Sadly her time with them was shortened due to osteosarcoma. She was only with them a little over a year and crossed the bridge on April 28th of 2021.

Clyde is a dark brindle male that just arrived from a farm in Jacksonville. We have known him since he was tiny and visited and played with his litter while he was growing up. He never raced because he just wasn't that interested in playing with or chasing the lure so never received an official racing name. He has been called Clyde all his life though. He tested cat and small dog safe. The farm he was raised on has small kids that visit frequently so he is used to being around kids. He just turned one year old on December 1st so is only 18 months old now. Clyde is very friendly and happy and pretty laid back and well behaved for a young pup. He seems like a very confident boy that wasn't phased by the move from the farm. He walked perfectly on leash for us and calmly went up to everyone he met wagging his tail. He doesn't have an official racing weight because he never raced but he weighed 69lbs at the vets. He is very tall for his weight though. All legs, very tall and thin!

Clyde was adopted by the Tanner family in 2014. He lived a happy life until he got cancer at the age of 8.5 and crossed the bridge in April of 2021. He will be missed.

Respect is a cute, sweet, black girl. She was born on Dec 11th and is 4 years old. She raced at 66lbs and raced over a hundred races and did pretty well. Respect is very friendly and gives kisses and is a real "people dog". She traveled with her head on the driver's shoulder on part of the trip up from the track. A very social, loving girl and so beautiful! Respect passed her cat test so should be OK to live with cats and is living with small dogs in her foster home. Respect prefers to be with people over other dogs so we think she would do fine as an only dog. She does play well with the two males in her foster home though. She has already learned to sit and down on command for treats. She also waits at the door before going out and waits patiently for her food at feeding time. She is a great eater and has no problem going into the crate. She has been quiet all night and is quick to do her business when she goes out and will potty on leash with no problem so might even be a good apartment dog. Respect seems great with handling and allowed her nails to be trimmed with no drama. Anyone looking for a calm, sweetheart of a dog should definitely meet Respect. What a cute cute little face!! Respect had a dominant female that was not fond of her although she has gotten along with two males in her foster home. So she may need a home without other dominant females.

Her Pedigree

Respect was adopted in 2012 by the Mayo Family. They called her Ressie. She was loved and cherished by them until she was 13.5 years old and crossed the bridge 5/5/21. Ressie will never be forgotten.

His Daytona kennel is closing so after he came in last in his first official race they decided to retire him. He is young and won't turn 2 until October 12th.  He is a short, stocky, muscular guy racing at 77lbs. Farm's sire is Kiowa Wish Frank and his dam is Kiowa Fuzzy Abby. He is a handsome guy that is mostly white with a lot of freckles and one big spot on his face. He loves meeting new people and seems to be a very outgoing friendly guy. He is calm and quiet in his crate. He has calmed down nicely after the first few days in his foster home and has settled right in. He gets a little excited at first and pulls some on the leash when you first go for walks, but then calms down and is very good after a few minutes. This is a fun guy that would love to go and do whatever you were doing with you. Farm was a little too interested in cats to pass his cat test but he did fine with the small dog in his foster home. He is used to being around kids because his track trainer had 3 young boys that she took with her to the kennel.  More as we get to know him.

Iggy is a smaller 69lb, red brindle male that is very timid at first. He is a littermate to two of our other dogs BT Ember and BT Fire that have been adopted and are great pets. Iggy's birthday is Jan 28th, 2008 so he is 3.5 years old. His sire is the famous Flying Penske! He loves to watch TV and has actually laid on his foster dad's lap and napped while watching TV - see his photos. He is living with quite a few other dogs including a couple of puppies in his foster home and seems to get along very well with others. Ignite crates quietly and likes to be in his crate. Although he can be shy out in public he warmed up in his foster home after just a couple of days and now is friendly and happy and a big snuggler. Iggy is living with cats and small dogs in his foster home so should be fine living with either. He seems to prefer women over men but did warm up to his foster dad. He could go to a home with only a man and would be fine since he would be forced to interact with him. In a family situation with a woman and a man we have noticed that he prefers the woman and takes a longer to warm up to a man. Iggy will be a great devoted pet if he just is given a little time to warm up. Because of Iggy's shyness we listed him as older children only, this is something we do with many shy dogs. We think that small, loud children would scare him and would just be a little too much for him to handle on a daily basis. We don't think he would ever intentionally harm a child in any way. He would probably be OK with visiting children although he may choose to stay in another room and not interact much.

His Pedigree

Iggy was adopted in 2012 and lived a long happy life with his family until he crossed the bridge March 1st of 2021 at 13 years old.

Hashbrown is a sweet little brindle girl that will be arriving soon from Orlando. She has 71 races listed and raced at 58lbs. Her sire is Kiowa Mon Manny and her dam is Pat C No Harmony. She celebrates her 3rd birthday on April 29th. Hashbrown passed her cat and small dog test at the track so should be fine living with either. Hashbrown is a sweet calm girl that is friendly and just got into the van and laid down so seems to be a very good traveler. Her foster home says she is settling in very well and is doing great with their cats.

Her Pedigree

Update on Hashbrown: She was adopted and renamed Princess Scully. Shortly after adoption, she lost weight and nearly died. After a lot of testing, vets diagnosed her with a Pancreatic insufficiency. Princess Scully recovered but had to have digestive enzymes added to her food for the rest of her life. In spite of her bad pancreas and kidney issues, she lived a long happy life. Princess Scully crossed the bridge on 4/21/21 just a few days shy of her 12th birthday.
