Carl is a total love bug! He may have been quiet and calm initially, but now that he's settled in he is most definately a bouncy energetic 2 year old. He'll settle down (on a pillow) when told to, but would rather be playing with a chew toy. He's never met a stranger and isn't shy about pushing to the front of the line when loving is being given out. He lays his head on the other pups backs or on your lap or arm when he wants attention. He has the most bewitching golden eyes, so don't look into them unless you're ready to fall in love! Nothing intimidates this confident boy. He's great on slippery floors, and stairs. He did well meeting small dogs but is not cat safe. On walks, he doesn't tug on the leash but does tend to wander in any and every direction to make sure he doesn't miss a thing. Reminders to stay focused are helpful. He isn't food aggressive at all but sure does love his chow, hopping up and down when his bowl is carried to the crate and he chomps his teeth. It's not a fast chatter but a very slow chomp, and really adorable. He will go in his crate when told to kennel up but he is the last one in. He is a beautiful solid brindle, not a white toe or even on his chest. Very affectionate and energetic! Carl was adopted and had a good but too short life. He passed away on 5/4/13. Carl was hit by a car after a tree fell on his fence and allowed him to escape his backyard. RIP Carl. |

Buck is a calm but friendly guy. He is a very well behaved, tall, handsome guy with lots of dark eyeliner around his expressive eyes. He raced at a thin 80lbs and weighs closer to 85 now. Buck was returned by his adoptive family because they had a baby. Buck hasn't had much experience with kids and his one quirk is that he is very uncomfortable with kids. He has always backed away from them and tries to avoid them so they felt he would be very uncomfortable and unhappy in a home with a baby. So Buck is looking for a new home with no small kids. Buck turned 7 on March 20th. We originally got him from Jefferson County Kennel Club in Florida when he was younger and he has been in a home since then. He only has 12 races listed. His sire is Stan's Boy Flyer and dam is PA's Trudi. Buck is a calmly friendly guy with adults but he really does tend to shy away from kids at meet and greets. Anyone younger than a teenager makes him nervous. He isn't a nervous dog at all otherwise - just the opposite. At meet and greets he loves people that come by and will even will put a paw up and paw at them for attention. Buck likes to run and play and will play fetch with a ball. He also loves playing with stuffed toys. He is good on leash and loves to go for walks or hikes. He likes to go for rides too. Buck crates quietly and potties on a leash so he would probably be very good in an apartment or townhouse or in a home without a fenced yard. He passed his cat and small dog tests and has lived in a home with cats before so would be great for a home with small animals. Buck has great house manners and never has accidents in his foster home. He has lived as an only dog for years so might be a good dog for someone that only wants one dog. |

Zeda is a super sweet girl ready for her foreer home. She walks wonderfully on leash, potties well on leash, crates perfectly, is an all around greyt girl. She loves having children around to play with in a fenced yard or inside the house. She seems to do well with all sized dogs except for trying to correct the hyper ones (Aussie or Spaniel types). No kitties or small critters for her please. She bonds very quickly and is attentive to her people and has impeccable house manners. She also loves being with and seeing other greys out at events. If you're looking for a perfectly adjusted girl, ready to fit right into your family, then Zeda is the one for you! Congratulations to the Grove Family of N. Mytrle Beach, SC! Pending Day 12.6.08 |

Luke is a very large, sweet, silly boy. He is considered special needs because he is blind in his right eye due to an injury he received as a puppy, but he doesn't seem to let that slow him down. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and is very loving and playful. He walks nicely on a leash and is completely potty trained. Luke is intelligent and will do best with a family that enjoys obedience training and will be confident pack leaders. He will make an awesome addition to the right home! Luke tested cat tolerant and is living with small dogs in his foster home. Because Luke was never registered to race we don't know who his parents are or much about his background other than his owners obtained him as a young pup. |
