Indy just arrived from the Bolton Farm in farm in Florida. She is a one-eyed girl due to an ocular tumor that caused her eye to have to be removed. She has never looked in a mirror so has no idea she only has one eye. She raced a total of 100 races at Sanford Orlando and at Derby Lane in Florida and was really good. Most of her races were at the top A level and at one point in her career she won 4 top level races in a row. Twice she won 3 in a row. She was quite the star. So she went back to the farm to be a mom after she retired in March of this year. Sometime after she got to the farm the tumor was discovered in her eye and it was removed by their vet. Her owners changed their minds about letting her have puppies because of the situation with racing ending in Florida. So now Indy is up for adoption. This sweet girl raced at 60lbs and will turn 5 on December 2nd. Her sire is Surf Lorian and her dam is I Got The Luck. She seems like a calm girl that walks good on leash. She paid no attention to the cats and small dogs she met at the vets office so should be fine to live with either. More as we get to know her.
