Additional Details:
Wheel House just arrived from the Celtic Hounds Kennel at the Sanford Orlando Race Track. She raced 62 races there. She seemed to do best at the longer distance races and won a few of those but mainly placed. She is a littermate to Nothing But Dust that we also placed. Her sire is Golden Squire and her dam is Ready Set Gone. Wheel House is a tiny female that raced at just 60lbs and will turn 3 on May 9th. She passed her cat test easily and is being fostered with cats so should be fine to live with cats or small dogs. She is very sweet, friendly and pretty laid back. Her foster home just loves her and says she is a great girl that gets along great with their dogs. Wheel House has been determined to have Greyhound Bleeding Disorder after tests ruled out diseases such as Von Wildenbrands. Future owners should be cautious about surgery or bleeding emergencies and should always have Amicar on hand. Wheel House likes the comfort of her crate and sleeps quietly there all night, so may be a good choice for apartment living. She also potties nicely on leash so doesn't require a fenced yard as long as her family was willing to leash walk her to potty. She is such a cute tiny girl that can be just a little overwhelmed at first by new things.
