Bounce is a very tiny boy at just 61lbs. He is also very young and celebrated his 2nd birthday on May 8th. So far Bounce has been very timid and unsure of himself. His trainer says he was very shy when he arrived at the track but did warm up and became a fun boy that was friendly and sweet and liked to play. He tested very cat safe and small dog safe at the track with no interest in chasing either. He didn't have much of a chase drive at all at the track which is why he retired before his racing career really even got started.

Update from his foster home: Bounce is gradually getting over his shyness. He now approaches people for petting without dropping his head or getting down on his belly. He still is not playing with toys but will take treats out of a person's hand and gets excited when his foster family comes home. He is very calm and enjoys laying in the grass in the yard. He is interacting more with the dogs in his foster home now - not really playing with them but he will run with them. He was very respectful with a senior dog in his foster home so may be a good dog for a family with an older dog that is wanting a younger one. He seems to be most bonded to people so would probably be fine as an only dog too.

She passed her cat and small dog test so should be able to live with either. Girly's date of birth is Sept 27th 2008. She did great with everyone she met at her first meet and greet. Good thing she is so tiny because she is a true lap dog and will wiggle up in your lap to snuggle with you and give you kisses. She loves males and females and made sure she went from lap to lap so everyone got love. If you want a dog to snuggle with this is your girly!

Romeo is a tall black male. He is young and just turned two Jan 1st. Romeo is very loving and wants to be with people. He did great meeting folks at his first meet and greet over the weekend. He still looks a little rough because he arrived with lots of fleas which caused hair loss and a skin infection. They have been successfully treated but he needs some time for his hair to come back in. In a month or two Romeo will have a beautiful glossy black coat. So far he is doing great in his foster home and gets along well with all family members human and greyhound. He has picked up on house rules very quickly. Romeo has a very high prey drive so is not going to be able to live with cats or small dogs. He mistakes anything small for a squirrel or a bunny and wants to chase it. He loves to play in sprinklers and will bite at the water and has a great time as you can see in his photos.

So far she has been pretty unsure but will cautiously come up to people and lean on them for comfort rather than running away. She seems like a very sweet girl that will be quick to warm up. Ethan is a small male at only 66lbs. Ethan has been in a home and has great house manners. He was just returned to us to be rehomed because of a weight restriction change at the apartment he had been living in. Since he was over 50lbs he had to go. He was not rehomed due to any behavior problem and doesn't seem to have any. He is a quiet guy that has lived in an apartment so would be perfect for an apartment or townhouse. Ethan likes his crate and often chooses to sleep there with the door open. A few greyhounds are smilers and this is definitely one of them. Ethan will grin up at you if he is happy and will grin even more if he thinks he might be in trouble. His foster family says he is a sweet, friendly, loving boy that couldn't be any nicer. This is a well behaved, easy guy that would be perfect for a first or 4th greyhound. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and likes children. This is one super guy! And SO cute!!

Zena has been returned to our group by her owners. They love her very much, and would love to keep her but have some very serious medical problems that make them unable to care for Zena. They say she is absolutely the most wonderful dog and they are only returning her because of their bad health. Zena small girl that raced at just 57lbs. She is a sweet, friendly girl that gives kisses and loves people and wants to please. She also loves toys. She really enjoys playing with her nylabone and kong. If someone is looking for a dog who likes to show off this is the dog for them! She loves to learn new things and doesn't even need treats to learn, she's all about the praise. She has learned to sit still to get out of her crate, sit and wait for her foster family to walk out a door first, lay down, come when called and wait for food/treats. At one point her foster mom was teaching Zena to "dance" but decided to stop rather than encourage her to jump in the air. Zena is also a great leash walker. Even though she has a bouncy personality she walks calmly right by your side and wears out after half a mile so her exercise requirement is very minimal. She has done great with the cats and small dogs in her foster homes and is even tolerant with a puppy in her current foster home. She adapts quickly and made herself at home right away in her foster home. After politely greeting the other dogs and checking out the house she found a dog bed and flipped over on her back with her legs in the air for a nap. This is a fun girl that has already been home acclimated and is going to be a great pet. Zena will be 5 on Christmas Day!

Mercy is a white female that has black ticking (freckles or dalmation spots). She just turned four April 23 and raced at 60lbs. Mercy is a fun, playful, energetic girl. She was fine with a medium sized dog that she was tested with at the track but was marginal with the cats in her cat test - not horrible but not great either so they think she may not be safe with them. We will do more testing after she is vetted to see how she is with smaller dogs and may redo her cat test to see if how well she responds to training with the cats.

She is much to interested in chasing cats to be able to live with cats however. She is already great on leash and doesn't pull at all. Rye is a little excitable when you first put her leash on but calms down and walks nicely after a minute or two. She is a small girl with the sweetest face and personality. Walt Ford Is a littermate to one of our other recently adopted dogs Ron Green. Ron's family is thrilled with how well behaved he is and we are sure it will be the same with Walt's family. Walt has passed his cat test by only sniffing and wagging, even when the cat ran from him, so should be fine living with cats. Walt is a handsome, red brindle male that is described as being well behaved and friendly by his trainer at the track. He is a happy, fun loving type but is pretty laid back so only plays for a short time. He had a very successful racing career and was retired because his trainer and owner feel his 200 plus races are enough. Not many racers continue racing nearly to their 5th birthday like Walt and his brother Ron did. This is a great guy that has run well and made a great living. Now it is time to enjoy the retired life and maybe get a bit spoiled. He has been great in his foster home and has quickly adjusted to home life as if he always lived in a home. Walt is a sweet, friendly, people-oriented guy that is going to be a fantastic loving pet.

Lady is very sweet and was a little shy at first but has really adjusted well to her foster home now. She loves toy time when all the toys are unpacked and everyone scampers for their favorite. Lady romps and plays with the other greyhounds in the backyard. She meets you at the door with tail wagging and smiles. This is a very sweet girl! Lady has lived in a home with children and was great with them. She gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and cats. Lady has already been home acclimated and has had perfect manners so far in her foster home. She raced 54 races at Palm Beach and Mardi Gras Race Tracks until she was bumped by another dog and broke her leg. She kept going in that race and managed to come in 5th somehow. That ended her career as a racer, but she went on to be a brood mom and produced 6 pups that were born in 2007. Although Lady walks and runs fine, sometimes when standing she holds up the leg she broke, so may have some arthritis in it. Lady has had a string of bad luck and ended up being picked up as a stray at one point and lived in a backyard and wasn't allowed in the house at another home. Although her behavior seems to be excellent; sadly, she has been in and out of several homes and is now looking for another family to love at 8 years old. We are hoping her run of bad luck will change and this home will be the forever home she has been dreaming of. Since Lady has has been very quiet and well behaved we think she might do OK in an apartment. What a precious face! Ladies sire is the famous Craigie Whistler and her dam is JJ's Rebel Cause.

She is a tiny girl at just 55lbs and couldn't be any cuter. Her whole litter is named for candy. The IU at the end of her name means "in utero" and means that her mom was imported while she was pregnant with the pups. Tic Tac was born in the US but was actually bred in Ireland. We have only gotten one or two other dogs with the same letters after her name so that is something extra special about little Tic Tac! We also placed her mom, who is an excellent pet. Good genes run in the family. She is a half sister to Deacon and Hoffa who arrived in the same load. Tic Tac has been doing great with the cats in her foster home so she should be fine with them in an adoptive home. Tic Tac raced only 3 races at Sanford Orlando track. Her sire is the famous Dodgem By Design and her dam is Hanks Cool Cat*.

Lolita is a pretty little 62lb light fawn girl. This is a littermate to one of our prior placements named Dim Sum and has the same mother as Blondie, Annie and Katie who we placed that have become wonderful pets. She comes from a breeder that hand raises only one litter of racing greyhound pups a year. Most of their dogs are very social and very people oriented. Her racing owner says she is the most loveable, snuggler that he has ever had and is his favorite greyhound of all the ones he has raised. He had a hard time letting her go but already has quite a few greyhound pets in his home so really can't keep another. She has been living with little dogs at his farm and gets along well with them. He says she doesn't pay any attention to the barn cats either so should be fine with either. So far she has been a little overwhelmed with the big move and has been very quiet and subdued and seems like she may be a little shy initially until she gets comfortable in a new situation. Her owner assures us that as soon as she warms up that she will be an incredibly devoted pet. Lolita is the cutest thing with these big doe eyes and stand up ears. She just stares up at you looking for cues on what to do next. When we weighed her at the vets she stood on the scale and didn't move once she was placed there. When we put her in her crate on the hauler she jumped right in but had to be given permission and encouragement to come back out when it was time. She seems like she will be a real easy dog that is going to look to her owner for all her cues and will want to please. She retired and has been living on a farm with her racing owner for awhile and hasn't been in a crate for awhile. She has been a little vocal about her dislike of the crate so may not be the best apartment dog unless she improves.

Bailey is the littermate to Manny (Aeros Darkman) and several other dogs we have placed recently. He was the best racer of the litter so was the last to retire.  A minor muscle injury forced his retirement from racing recently. This is very minor and will not cause any permanent problem for Bailey and if he had been a better racer they may have rehabbed him and had him continue racing after he healed. His trainer describes him as a real lovable guy. When he comes in from his turn outs every day he always goes up to his trainer for a pet and a kiss before going on to his crate. His trainer thinks Bailey will make a better pet than racer. Bailey was raised by breeders that hand raise only one litter of racing greyhounds a year. He has been well socialized and already knows what it is like to be a pet and clearly loves people. He passed his cat and small dog test at the track so should be OK to live with either. His foster home has both and will do further testing.

He seems to want to get as close to his people as possible wanting his head in your lap when standing next to you or even trying to get up in your lap on the couch. Good thing he is a smaller guy. Ron also passed his initial cat test by only sniffing and wagging, even when the cat ran from him so appears to be exceptionally cat tolerant like his brother Walt. Ron is described as being the most laid back of the two brothers and is a beautiful red boy. His trainer and owner says that he has never caused any trouble and is a real good boy at the kennel. He even recommended him as a good greyhound for a first time foster or adoptive home. Like his brother Walt, Ron was also an exceptional racer and was only retired because he was getting close to his 5th birthday and had a lot of races under his belt. His owner thinks it is time for him to retire and be a pet. This guy is going to take his retirement very seriously.

Sissy is a mid sized 60lb, beautiful, red girl that just turned 4 in January. She is just as happy and sweet as she looks in her picture. Sissy is described as a very snuggly girl that enjoys snuggling with other dogs and people every chance she gets. She is the type of dog that will be up on the couch with you watching TV with her head in your lap. She has good kitchen manners so far - no counter surfing or begging. Sissy is a lower energy girl so should be an easy dog that won't require a lot of exercise - perfect for a busy family! She has had no accidents at all in the house during her potty training and is a clear communicator that will let you know when she needs you to put her outside. She crates well but does whine a bit sometimes in her crate so may not be the best dog for a condo or apartment. Although Sissy is a laid back girl she still loves to play with toys and bounce around in the yard for a little while between naps. Her foster family captured some cute pictures of her playing with toys. Sissy had no trouble learning how to walk on slick floors or learning how to do steps. She has lived with small dogs in her foster home and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. She does want to please her people and quickly learned that the cats in her foster home were off limits. Smart and such a cutie! We just love that one floppy ear! Her Pedigree

Manny is a beautiful, rich, dark brindle boy that is on the small side for a male. He is sweet and quiet and shadows his foster dad everywhere he goes. He is going to be a very devoted dog for some lucky family. Manny was the more confident boy in the litter but doesn't seem to be a pushy guy and is very respectful of people and well behaved. Manny lost the end of his tail in an accident so has only half a tail, but he just thinks that and his stand up ears make him even more unusual and handsome. Manny is a sweet, loving boy that has settled into home life very well and has done great on his potty training and kennels well. He passed his cat and small dog tolerance tests so should be fine living with either one.

Blarney was called Scrappy at his racing kennel at Derby Lane. He raced 131 races there and was good getting up to the top A level. He was retired in August of 2009 and was initially sent to another group that is shutting down now. After having him in foster care for awhile they ask us for help fostering and placing him. Blarney is becoming a favorite of our foster home and is just an all around great guy. He has gotten along well with all the other dogs in his foster home. He loves toys and joyfully throws them around to play. He would probably be happiest in a home with slightly older children only because he sometimes jumps in surprise when touched from behind. This will probably go away as he becomes more comfortable in a new home. He is very gentle though and doesn't snap or growl even when surprised. Blarney has responded well to the cat in his foster home and completely ignores it now so should be fine living with cats or small dogs. His foster mom describes him as so sweet that families won't be able to help falling in love with him! And look at all that dark eyeliner on those expressive eyes! He can complain loudly in his crate so probably wouldn't be the best dog for apartment living. This is a sweet boy that will steal your heart.

Ruby is a beautiful girl who's starting over looking for her new home because her family is having a baby. They think she may be too playful and is likely to knock a toddler down. Ruby loves older kids though and is playful and would be a fun dog for a family with kids big enough to play with a dog. She is a wonderful dog that has been a loving family companion. She is healthy and completely up to date on her vetting and will be moving to her new home with some of her essentials as a gift to help her transition. Ruby has displayed varying responses to the cats she has been around in the family home. She will chase them, but will stop when they turn and face her. She might do OK with a family with cats that are confident around dogs and a family who is willing and able to set rules. Ruby's family describes her as a wonderful, people-oriented dog that should settle in happily with almost anyone. Lets get this beautiful girl home for the new year!

Clyde is a laid back, friendly guy. He has quickly adjusted to home life. Clyde is smart and learned how to use a doggy door the first day. He has picked up on potty training automatically too. He travels very well and seems to enjoy it. Clyde has been great with his foster family's cat. Although Clyde is very friendly and loves attention he would do best in a smaller, quiet family. He was with a very large family with lots of children for a short time and didn't seem comfortable with the constant activity and would choose to stay in his crate. That is one of the reasons we think he would do better in a family with older, more quiet kids or no kids. Not much phases this guy otherwise. He is a happy go lucky guy that checks in frequently with his family and seems to want to please. He loves to go for walks and is very good on leash and potties quickly on leash when taken outside on leash so doesn't require a fenced yard. He is a more submissive guy temperment wise so seems like he could get along well with other dogs.

Pat the Hammer just arrived. We are really excited and surprised to get this famous racer as a pet. It is rare that a dog that raced this well is available as a pet without a long career as a stud dog first. This is a great guy that has quite the history of winning races including more than one Stakes Race. Wish he could give us his autograph. Pat is a very outgoing loving guy. He loves to put his head on you and just stare up into your eyes. He will rub his head on you every chance he gets. He is a great guy that was so well behaved when he arrived it was as if he had already lived in a home. He loves children and shows no prey drive toward cats or small dogs so should be able to live with either. This a great guy that is confident without being pushy and is so so sweet! You can tell that he is used to being admired and treated like the elite racer that he is. He just LOVES people but seems to get along with other dogs just fine too. Congratulations to the Pat's foster family! He is going to be staying with them permanently. This guy was a prize that they just couldn't let go.  Pat's Pedigree

Mo is an economy return we've been asked to be given a second chance at a new family because of the loss of a job. He is not being returned because of any behavior problem. Mo likes: rides in the car, walks long or short, a good belly rub, treats, human companionship and a nice cuddle in bed (to his disappointment NOT allowed at his foster home). Mo dislikes: cats and being crated. Mo is great with children and tends to be a ma ma's boy. He came from a household with 3 dogs so should be able to get along great in a home with existing dogs. He is playful, but respectful with his 3 new foster sisters and brother. He has adapted quickly to a new routine and house rules. A smart boy. Mo surprised everyone at the fun run. This quiet lay-back boy can really still run. He held his own at the front of the pack. What a beautiful sight! Sleeping or running Mo is the Magic Man"."

Jeserell is a bouncy, happy little girl. Her tail wags furiously if she even thinks you are paying attention to her or looking her direction, in fact she wags her whole body. She is very friendly, loves people and gives plenty of kisses. She passed her cat and small dog test so should be able to live with either. She is very food motivated and will eat well in or out of her crate. She loves her crate and will often choose to lay in there with the door open. She loves toys and will collect them all in her crate. She never has torn up a toy though, just carries them around. She follows her foster mom around the house curiously but not in a too needy way that could be annoying. She is a pretty confident girl that is likely to be the more dominant female in a pack of dogs. Jezerell is such a love bug that you just have to love her back. Jeserell is a littermate to ThatsWhyURThere who is one of our other recent adoptions. She is a half sister to Jet, Drama, and Cracker Barrel many of our other already adopted hounds. Her father seems to throw some exceptionally nice dogs.

Giggles is a very large muscular girl that looks more like an Arnold than a Giggles. Her sire is the famous Trent Lee and her dam is Racers Roulette. DOB 4/11/08. She raced 13 races at Dubuque and then Birmingham. She has a gorgeous, very black, shiny coat and white feet and tip of tail. Giggles is very friendly, happy and loves people. Her tail wags like crazy and she even grins happily sometimes. She play bows and gets silly trying to get people to play with her. She was so busy trying to get her foster mom to play with her that she ignored two greyhound puppies that were running, barking and playing around her. Funny how dogs can be more devoted to people than their own kind. She has shown no interest in chasing a small dog in her foster home. She showed some initial interest about the cat but it seemed to be just curiosity. We think she will probably be Ok with cats with a little more exposure to them. Giggles traveled well on her trip from the track to her foster home and on her trips back and forth to the vet. Giggles loves playing with toys and rope toys are her favorites. She seems like she would be a very good running partner for short distances - greyhounds are sprinters so cant run for long. She runs along side her foster mom in the fenced yard in nearly a perfect heel position with no leash at all. Giggles seems drawn to children so should be excellent in a home wth kids. This is a gorgeous girl with a great personality. She tends to have a submissive personality so should be fine living with more dominant dogs. This is a fun girl that is happy in just about any situation. She doesn't seem to be worried about anything and everyone she meets makes her wiggle with happiness.

She has liked the children she has met so far. This tiny beauty has looks and personality and you can't help but smile around her.  Update from her new foster home! Star is an amazing little angel! She came right into her new surroundings without hesitation, meeting everyone calmly and carefully checking everything around her. She sleeps peacefully and quietly in her crate and has been totally clean without any accidents inside. This is a VERY nice girl who will be the perfect first greyhound or addition to an established pack. The first family who meets her for adoption will fall head over heels in love!

He is very mellow and lives in his foster home with a cat, walking by and hardly giving a glance. He's already been vetted and has responded well to house-training. Fib has earned a new name. She is so devoted and stays so close to her foster mom that she started calling her Shadow. As you can see Shadow is a beautiful, dark brindle female. She has the softest fur that feels more like rabbit fur than dog fur. She LOVES LOVES LOVES people and will lean on you for attention - a greyhound hug. Shadow will stand in one spot as long as you will pet her. As you can imagine she is always a real hit at meet and greets with her sweet, friendly personality. FIb loves her squeaky toys and tosses them in the air for herself to catch. She loves playing outside in the yard and will play fetch and actually bring the ball back you. That is pretty rare in greyhounds and most will quickly let you know that they are not retrievers if asked to fetch more than once or twice. Shadow is a fun girl that loves attention and wants to do whatever you are doing. Although she sleeps in her kennel at her foster home she would prefer to sleep in the room with her family when she finds them. Shadow is a confident girl that gets along well with other dogs but is likely to want to be the dominant female in her home. She tested cat and small dog tolerant at the track. She initially showed some interest in the cat in her foster home but has gotten used to living with cats now. She initially mistook small dogs for bunnies too at a distance but was fine once she was properly introduced and got a good sniff. She should be fine now that she has spent time with both. She has done great on potty training and will let you know when she needs to go out. This fun loving girl is in search of a family with lots of love to give and she promises to give even more back.

FIre is a 3 year old, small, black, male that raced at 66lbs. His birthday is Jan 28th. Fire passed his cat, small dog and kid tests so should be fine in a home with them. He is a quiet guy so should also be great in an apartment or townhouse. He seems like a smart guy that picks up on things fast. He picked up on going to the door and letting his foster family know when he needed to go outside right away and has not had one accident in the house. Update: Fire has become one of the sweetest dogs that his foster home has ever fostered (they have fostered a lot of dogs). He tries his best to be a big lap dog and follows his foster parents around. He loves people and wants nothing more than to stay close to them. This guy would love to lay on the couch and snuggle. He seem like a very tolerant guy that would be excellent with other dogs because he is unusually good with two puppies living in his foster home.

Sissy is a small outgoing girl that loves people. She is a happy little girl that gives hugs and grins when she is happy. She has been home acclimated already. Her foster home says she is just a joy to have around and is very well behaved. Sissy has lived with cats for 6 months but played too rough with a kitten so would need to be placed only with other small animals that are very clear about not wanting to play with her. As tiny as she is, there is just too much of a size difference between cats and tiny dogs to allow them to play with a larger dog. Sissy would prefer a home with no children or older quiet children. She lived with a couple of very young children and didn't care for their level of activity and noise after a few months.

Lulu is a sweet brindle girl that retired due to a pretty common minor muscle injury in her back leg. Fortunately this injury heals up well on its own and doesn't cause any limping or permanent problem for the dog. She will be fine to run around again and play very soon and her adoption does not need to be held up because of this type of injury. Lulu is really a nice girl that seems like a pretty laid back girl. Her trainer said she was low key and well behaved and never caused any problems at the kennel and that seems to be a good description of her according to her foster home. She does like toys and will play with them but is a lower energy girl that should be a really easy dog. She is another Maryville Rumble pup and he seems to throw some exceptionally sweet well behaved dogs. We have also adopted out a quite a few pups from her mother's line that have been very sweet dogs. It would be hard to go wrong with this great combination. She is a mid sized female that raced at 62lbs. She seems like she is likely to be the perfect companion and is settling into her foster home as if she has always been there.

This outgoing girl is very inquisitive and checks out everything and nothing seems to scare her or bother her. Ruthie passed her cat and small dog test at the track but has show some initial interest in some cats she has met so will need a careful introduction and supervision around cats at first. She seems to lose interest in them pretty quickly. She just needs to know what they are. She seems like a great all around dog that will enjoy doing just about anything that her family wants to do. Newsflash--- 3 littermates! Aeros DarkMan, Aeros Puzzler, and Aeros Kruger have arrived! Puzzle got his name because of a question mark on his forehead. Puzzle is a very happy dog, full of life and playful. He has lots of energy being a young boy, but is well-mannered on lead. Puzzle is currently being vetted and looking for his foster placement, but so far he has settled in and been a very nice guest. He showed no interest in the resident cats on his first test so we are calling him probably trainable at this point. We will test him again to confirm at our first opportunity. The first thing visitors notice about Puzzle is that he's so friendly and happy to see everyone! He wants to wag and play, and give kisses, at every opportunity. If you're looking for an outgoing, active greyhound boy who's ready for every new adventure, this is absolutely your dog!

Update: Puzzle was adopted by the Sundeen family and renamed Romeo in 2011. The Sundeens moved to Colorado in 2012. Due to a family situation they had to re-home him in 2014, 3 years after adopting him. Romeo found new owners in Colorado with the help of Colorado Greyhound Adoption.

Hillary has so much natural black "eyeliner" around her expressive eyes that she looks like she is made up for an awards show so we can kind of see how she would be named for a movie star. Hillary is a tiny, beauty that raced at only 53lbs. She is still nearly a pup and doesn't turn 2 until April. Hillary is very devoted to people and loves attention. She probably wouldn't be quiet enough to be an apartment dog because at the track adoption kennel she would bark and whine when adopters would come in trying to get their attention. Hmmm maybe another movie star behavior? Hillary has showed no interest in chasing the cats or small dogs in her foster home so could live with either. She wants to sleep in the same room as her foster mom and complains loudly if she is not allowed to. So far she has not gone potty on leash on walks but she does like to go for walks. She will definitely need a fenced yard to do her business in with a fence higher than 4 feet. She has been able to get over a gate that was nearly 4 feet high to get back to her foster mom. More as we get to know her.

CurlyQ is a precious girl that is full of personality and silliness. She earned her name because the end of her tail curls like a piggy's!! When you look at her or talk to her that tail just wags. She is a real velcro dog and will want to be with you no matter where you go. She is a red brindle with lots of 'stripes' on one side and very few on the other. She seems to be the sort of greyhound that will fit in with anyone. When laying down she will put out a paw to get attention when you walk by. She tested as trainable with kitties and small dogs and has actually been living with cats in her foster home. Although she wants to please and has proved that she can be trained to be around small animals, CurlyQ does have a high prey drive so we will need to introduce her carefully to any very small animals (dog or cat) that are in a potential home. She seems to be fine with small to medium sized dogs she has met but was quite interested in a very small dog. CurlyQ will be a wonderful addition to some lucky family and will keep you laughing with her silliness. CurlyQ is a half sister to two of our other available girls, Chato and Lily. She was overwhelmed when she first arrived but is warming up quickly and is coming up for love and starting to play with toys and other greyhounds in just a few days. Kimberly passed her cat and small dog tests at the track so should be able to live with either. She potties on leash just fine so may be OK without a fenced yard. She is a very curious girl that seems to learn fast. Kimberly's Pedigree

Gabby is a sweet, seven year old girl that is already home acclimated and has been in a home for years. She is being rehomed along with her housemate Nora because her family is moving and are not taking the dogs with them. She is a sweet girl that is good with kids and has lived with small dogs. She has too high of a prey drive to live with cats though. Her Sire is ICU Smooth Talk and her dam is Kelso's Canoe. More as we get to know her.

Booboo is a friendly, happy girl that was described as one of "the sweetest girls" at the kennel. Her personality really stood out to get her noticed in the crowd of 70 racers she lived with. Maybe part of that was her unusual name which certainly got everyone's attention. Don't worry, she is not a "pooper" and hasn't had too many "boo boos". Booboo passed her cat and small dog tolerance tests at the track so should be able to live with both. She is very well behaved in her foster home and with the other dogs in their home. Where she really shines is at meet and greets because she really loves her public and is making plenty of fans wherever she goes. This is a great girl that would do well in just about any situation and would be the perfect first greyhound or 10th. She walks nicely on leash too! And yes she does have an unusual chocolate brown spot on her nose. She is a one of a kind for sure.

Bubba raced 40 races at the now closed Jefferson County Kennel Club. He only won one of those. He was placed in a home but came back to us as an Economy Return. He has been in a home so is already home acclimated. He is a big tall, pretty boy with a wonderfully quiet, laid-back personality but does have a playful goofy side too that makes him a fun boy. He is very sweet and safe with small animals and children. As you can see from his photos Bubba does have unique ears that sometimes end up in a position that make him look like he has been in a wind storm. He is such a cute guy and so well behaved. No behavior problems that we can see from this guy. He is going to fit right into some lucky home as if he has been there forever. His sire is Pompeys Gold and his dam is Baby Smile.
