Annie just arrived from Australia. She raced 54 races mostly in 2020 and 2021. Her last race was Jan 22 of 2022. She has been living with her racing owner since then. She wasn't a great racer mainly placing and only actually won 4 races. She raced at quite a few tracks: Dubbo, Coonamble, Muswellbrook, Gunnedah, Bathurst, Maitland, Tamworth, and Moree. Annie is 66lbs and her DOB is October 1, 2018. Her sire is the famous Fernando Bale and her dam is Becky Keeping. This is Annie's description from her owner:
Annie is an out and out sweetheart, well on her way to becoming a perfect pet. Despite her lack of experience living the pet lifestyle, Annie is a confident, happy girl who would make a wonderful addition to almost any home.You’ll always spot Annie by her wagging tail, always moving side to side, whether she’s sniffing around a new environment or making a new human friend! Annie is very human social and loves to meet new people. She’ll confidently approach (tail wagging of course!) and look for a little TLC. She will choose to calmly stand next to you for as long as you will pet her. She goes outside just long enough to finish her business, and then wants to come straight back inside. Annie has mostly socialised with other Greyhounds, however she has also been introduced to some small dogs. She got along just fine with the smallies and disengaged easily, overall she didn’t have much interest in them- she prefers human friends who can give her all the love and affection! Annie seems like she may be trainable with cats. She was initially very interested in the first cat she met, but after it slapped her, she backed away and didn't want to engage again. Annie is travels very well, she is cool, very very calm, and collected at all times. She is great on the lead and doesn't pull! Annie crates very well and is quiet in her crate. She has liked the small kids she has met. She is a gorgeous dog inside and out. Annie is confident, friendly, and sweet- what more could you ask for!
