Pluto just arrived. He was placed by another group and has been in a loving home for years with his housemate Riley McBones. His owner is having health issues that he won't recover from that force him to give up both dogs. Pluto and Riley don't pay a lot of attention to each other so we think they would be fine to place in separate homes. Pluto is a medium sized male that raced at 75lbs. He turned 8 on September 18th. His sire is I Will Make It and his dam is Barts FocalPoint. Pluto raced at Sarasota and Pensacola and got up to the top A level. He ran 40 races and his last race was June 1st of 2014 so he has been in a home since shortly after that. Pluto was not eating well at the kennel he was boarded at before we got him. Our vet was concerned when he came in and ran a lot of blood work and did some other testing. Sadly the results came back that Pluto has advanced cancer and the vet says that he is already feeling bad. We will help him cross the bridge soon so that he doesn't suffer.
