Barry came in from the Blanchard Kennel at the Orange Park Race Track in Jacksonville FL. He also raced briefly at Dubuque and Tri State in WV. Barry had a pretty long career of 116 races and got up to the top A level so was good. He retired March 16th of 2020. Barry raced at 71lbs and turned 3 on January 14th. His sire is the famous Flying Penske and his dam is Boc's Slim N Fit. Barry is a friendly, curious guy that loves going for rides. He passed his cat and small dog tests easily so should be able to live with small animals.   Update!  Barry, now known as Bruce, will be arriving for foster placement or adoption on 3.17.25 because of an Economy Return.  Through no fault of his own or his loving family, we will be finding a new family who will love him as much as they did.  He is still safe with small dogs and cats, although he hasn't had much experience with children in his home.  He is very chill and good with meeting strangers, to the point that he's become the unofficial office dog some days at the local boarding kennel where his momma works.  Such a good boy!  His only issue seems to be a slight separation anxiety when left totally alone, so would do best with either a family who has other greyhounds, or one that wants him with them most of the time. He just turned 8 in January and has so much love to give.
