Additional Details:

Coco came in from the Jacksonville FL Orange Park Race Track. She broke her leg in her last race on Jan 18th. She had surgery to repair it funded by Pro Greyhound, a group that funds surgical repairs and rehab of retired racers through your donations. If you would like to donate see their page here. Coco raced 121 races, some at Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas before moving to Florida. She raced at 61lbs and turned 4 on Feb 6th. Her sire is Look My Way and her dam is Poor White Dog. She has completed her rehab and recovery and has been released by our vets for adoption. Her leg has healed very well and she should be able to run around and play normally. Coco is pretty friendly and likes people, but she isn't a social butterfly. She isn't pushy for affection and is perfectly happy to stand back and let others get the attention. Coco loves to be outside and will lay in the yard watching her foster dad while he does yard work. She is calm and sweet. Coco does complain some when crated so probably wouldn't be a good apartment dog, although she is quiet when out of the kennel. She passed her cat and small dog test so should be fine to live with either.
