Additional Details:

Reverend is a smaller brindle male that raced at 69lbs. He is a young guy that won't turn 2 until April 3rd. His sire is Lonesome Cry and his dam is CTW Lorraine. He needs a home without cats but hasn't shown any interest in small dogs whatsoever so should be fine living with them. Reverend only raced 4 races but didn't win any of them. He is being retired early because his kennel is closing. So far he is a very calm boy for one so young. He has a beautiful, red coat with a few brindle stripes. Very Stunning! Reverend was happy to stand quietly and let people pet him his first time out in public, but didn't go up to many people on his own seeking out attention. He was just a little reserved but seems like the type that will warm up fast and loves attention because he didn't shy away from anyone. He has done well in his foster home.  Update from his foster mom! Reverend is settling in nicely and learning the rules about being in a home.  He always prefers to be inside with the humans, but will go outside in the backyard for a walk around when he needs to.  He quickly chooses a dog bed and rests with the other hounds but will be the first to jump up and check out anything new and exciting that might happen.  He sleeps quietly all night long in his crate.  During the day, he will complain a little when crated so probably won't be the best option for an apartment or condo with owners who are gone all day.  He doesn't seem to rely on the other dogs in the home though, which means that he could probably be comfortable as the only large pet in the home.  No indoor accidents so far either in the home or his crate.  Reverend is very young, and that means that everything is new, different, and worth investigating.  He's going to be a really nice dog for a family who understands he needs a little time and training in basic commands.  Give him a chance to stand quietly next to you for attention and you may be in love with this adorable boy!!
