Cornelia retired from the Sanford Orlando Race track in 2006 after a long successful race career. She also raced at Plainfield and Shoreline tracks and was an A racer that competed in and won Stakes races. She was 4 years old when she retired and was born on June 26th 2002. Her sire was the famous Greys Statesman and her dam is Pat C Hiutus. Cornelia had to have a home without cats because she did want to chase them when she saw them. She was adopted by her foster family, the Ross family of Columbia SC, not long after she retired in January of 2007. She lived a long happy life and passed away in January of 2017 at 14.5 years old.
