Remus initially came in from the Southland Race Track where he raced 67 races. He was a big star there, racing at the top AA level and even competing in a Stakes race. Southland is the highest paying track in the country where the best dogs race so he was the best of the best! He raced at 69lbs so is a smaller red male. His sire is BD's Herby and his dam is My Heroine. He will turn 4 on May 20th. Remus is a very friendly guy that hasn't met a stranger. He travels very well and likes to go for rides. He was initially very interested in the cat until the cat slapped him and then didn't want to get near the cat again. So we think he would probably be OK in a home with a confident cat with supervision at first. He was curious about the little white dog he met at first too but just sniffed and figured out right away that it was another dog and then lost interest. Remus is very quiet and lived for awhile in an apartment until his owner had to move for work to another country and was unable to take him with him. He pulls some on the leash when he is excited so needs a little work on that. He does potty well on leash and is used to being walked for potty breaks since he didn't have access to a fenced area at the apartment. He does stairs well. Remus is pretty active for a greyhound and likes to play and go for walks. He is a very confident guy.
