Additional Details:

Willow is a very tiny girl that came in initially from the Daytona Beach Race Track on Oct 19th of 2016. She has only 29 races listed in 2015 at Sanford Orlando, Dubuque and Orange Park and never actually raced at Daytona Beach. She ended up being off from racing for a year having trouble with one of her toes. Eventually they had the problem toe amputated, so it wouldn't bother her anymore, and it is long since healed. Her racing owner decided to go ahead and retire her so we got her after the toe amputation. Willow is a tiny, fawn, female that weighs just 53lbs.  Dark sable tips on some of her fawn fur, gives her a very beautiful look. Her sire is Afleet Alex and her dam is WW Crystal Farm.  She is described as a bit higher energy, happy, waggy and very outgoing. She has had a salivary gland that leaks since before we got her, so she has a little fold under her skin under her head. It is nothing to worry about and doesn't bother her a bit according to our vets. Willow has been in a home since she was adopted in 2016. They have recently reported what sounds like some separation anxiety based accidents in her kennel when left alone.  We had her checked by our vet to rule out a physical cause and she is fine. She may just need to be in a home with another dog for company. So far she has done really well in her foster home with other dogs and hasn't had any accidents. Willow will celebrate her 6th birthday on August 28th. She did not pass her cat test so needs a home without cats. Willow is being fostered with small dogs and is doing great with them. She was good with her trainers children ages 5-11. She can be vocal in her kennel so won't be a good choice for apartment or townhouse living. Willow travels really well and settled into her foster home right away. She is so tiny that she curled up in a small rocking chair in her foster home and went to sleep. Yes we have pictures of that. She is the first greyhound that has ever done that in her foster mom's home. The most recent photos of her are the ones with more white on her face. The others were taken when she first arrived. Willow is a sweet friendly girl that is very happy and outgoing. You would never know she is 6 years old.
